Ronald V. Burns, Sr - President/CEO
Ronnie founded Global Parking Systems (GPS) in 1990 and serves as its President and CEO. His focus on providing premier parking management solutions to airports, municipalities and private businesses has brought him industry-wide recognition. Under his leadership, GPS has grown into one of the premier companies in the market. In addition to his position at GPS, he is the Chairman of QCS Logistics, a leading provider of customized transportation and warehousing services in the Gulf South, and serves on numerous civic and charitable boards.
Ronnie graduated from Dillard University with a degree in Accounting.
Jason G. Burns, Sr - VP Marketing
Jason serves as the VP of Marketing at Global Parking Systems. Jason began his career in parking by being the youngest person selected in Central Parking’s Executive In Training program. Over the past 10 years, he has worked in all levels of the industry and has management experience in a wide array of parking applications (municipal, airport, shuttle, stadium, and valet). A civic and business leader in the community, he is a founding member of The Urban League of Greater New Orleans Young Professionals and is active in The 504ward, an organization dedicated to retaining young professionals in New Orleans. He is also a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program.
Jason received a BA in Communications Studies from Vanderbilt University.
Shelia B. Burns - VP Administration
Sheila B. Burns, Vice President of GPS, oversees all administrative aspects of the company. With more than 25 years’ experience managing public transit systems operations for the city and state, she is an expert in contract negotiation and administration, industry insurance, and strategic development. She is a New Orleans Tourism Marketing Commission board member representing the New Orleans East Economic Development Foundation.
Sheila received an undergraduate degree in Urban Studies from Wellesley University and a Masters in Urban & Regional Planning from Harvard University.
Emile H Robertson - VP Operations
Emile serves as the VP Operations for Global Parking Systems and has overall responsibility for the successful executive of the company’s service offerings. These duties include budgeting & forecast analysis, management of the on street parking and ticket processing operations, serving as the liaison with city personnel and major contractors, and direct leadership of GPS’ managers and customer service representatives. Mr. Robertson is a retired Federal Executive with over 35 years auditing and managing tax audits of multi-national companies specializing in energy and energy related industries. He has managed divisions consisting of over 500 hundred technicians and managers.
Emile graduated from Dillard University with a BA in Accounting and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Kelly Dixon - Executive Liaison & Director of Operations
Kelly serves as Executive Liaison and Director of Operations, working closely with the Senior Management Team and support staff across the entire Global Parking Systems network to achieve the company’s operational effectiveness and strategic objectives. Kelly has 15 years of operations and financial services experience and has held varies roles in banking and education.
Kelly has a B.S. in Management from Troy University.
Michelle D. Craig - General Counsel
Michelle currently serves as General Counsel for GPS and is Managing Partner of Transcendent Legal. With over 14 years of Am200 Law firm experience, she was a partner with Adams and Reese LLP, New Orleans before starting her own firm.
Michelle holds dual degrees including a Juris Doctorate and (J.D.) and a Bachelor of the Civil Law ( B.C.L.) from the Louisiana State University (LSU) Law Center. She also studied International and Comparative Law at the Universite' d'Aix Marseille in Aix en Provence, France.
