New South Parking (NSP) is an established partnership that combines the proven team of SP Plus Corporation (SP+) and ACDBE certified firm, Global Parking Systems (GPS). SP+ and Global have extensive experience operating large, complex parking, valet and shuttle operations in partnership at airports. NSP was founded over 20 years ago as a true joint venture between Global Parking and Central Parking System, Inc. The merger of Central Parking with Standard Parking Corporation in 2012 has added even more strength, stability, resources and expertise to the NSP partnership.

The partnership between GPS and SP+ dates back to 1995 when NSP assumed management and operation of the parking facilities at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). In 2001, NSP was selected to develop a new 2,500 space Long Term parking garage, providing project management and financing to develop and construct the facility. NSP's management of the Long Term garage brought operating efficiencies and economies of scale. Lower operating costs were achieved by combining management oversight, employees and other local resources with the Short Term Parking garage, Employee Parking Lot, shuttle bus operation and related services.
